SSIP is a three-year process within differentiated monitoring that is designed to improve the outcomes for students with disabilities. Exceptional Student Services (ESS) and Public Education Agencies (PEAs) work together as stakeholders through activities and professional development opportunities designed to strengthen and monitor district, school, and classroom systems.
By FFY 2025, targeted Public Education Agencies (PEAs) will increase the performance of SSIP students with disabilities in grade 3 on the English Language Arts (ELA) state assessment from 9.58% to 12.23%.
After the first activity submission in SSIP Year-1, many of the forms retain information for use during subsequent submission periods, and so should be accessed and delivered through email attachment between the PSM Specialist and the Director of ESS activities at the PEA.
