Public Reporting

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) has specific public reporting requirements. These requirements mandate that states publicly report on various aspects of special education programs, which helps to ensure transparency and accountability in the provision of special education services.

IDEA Part B Public Reporting by SPP/APR Indicator

IDEA requires states to submit data and to annually report data on the status toward meeting indicator targets.

IDEA Part B 618 Data

Section 618 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires that each state submit data about children with disabilities, ages 3 through 21, who receive special education and related services under Part B of IDEA.
