Arizona Johnson O'Malley Quarterly Forum

In collaboration with the National Johnson O'Malley Association (NJOMA) Region 1 representative, the Office of Indian Education (OIE) co-hosts the quarterly Arizona Johnson O’Malley (JOM) Forum. The forum began in January 2022, and the overall purpose is to provide an opportunity for all JOM contractors in Arizona to unite and discuss any challenges with JOM, gain guidance, and share best practices. Discussion topics include the student count process, training needs, and ideas for more effective management of JOM.

Each quarterly forum is recorded to document the needs of JOM contractors and the guidance provided by participants, NJOMA, and the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). Recordings can be found in the dropdown menus below. Ultimately, the forum provides an opportunity to collaborate in creating a united and consistent support structure for Arizona Indigenous students. Although the forum is geared toward the JOM contractors, all stakeholders in Indian Education are welcome to attend.
