In April of 2025, SB1225 was amended by the legislature and signed by the Governor. On 9/11 education day, each public school that provides instruction to students in any of grades seven through twelve shall provide age-appropriate instruction to students in each of grades seven through twelve on the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The state board of education may develop policies or adopt rules for the purposes of carrying out this section.

AZ Math Assessments

Arizona Assessments: AASA (Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment) is the statewide achievement test for Arizona students in Grades 3-8.  All Arizona public school students in Grades 3 - 8 will take the grade level AASA assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Cohort 2025 (typically grade 9) students will take the ACT Aspire assessment. Cohort 2023 (typically grade 11) students will take the ACT assessment. 

AZELLA: AZELLA (Arizona’s English Language Learner Assessment) is a Standards Based Assessment that measures a student’s English language proficiency based on the Arizona English Language Proficiency Standards.

The Arizona Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) illustrates how teachers can use technology to enhance learning for K-12 students. The TIM associates five levels of technology integration (i.e., entry, adoption, adaptation, infusion, and transformation) with each of the five characteristics of meaningful learning environments.

The Florida Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) illustrates how teachers can use technology to enhance learning for K-12 students.

The Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Framework identifies the complex relationship between Content (CK), Pedagogy (PK), and Technology (TK) in order to support effective technology integration.

The SAMR Model (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) is a framework for considering the various depths of technology integration.
