Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) is the nation’s highest honor for teachers of mathematics and science. The Awards recognize exemplary K-12 teachers for their contributions in the classroom and to their profession. Excellent teachers perform miracles every day with little or no recognition. The Presidential Awards demonstrate the value and appreciation the nation has for the teaching profession. Nominate an outstanding math or science teacher today for this prestigious award.
Once nominated, a teacher must complete an application to be considered for the award. The application includes a videotaped lesson and written responses to questions about the teacher’s instructional practice.
Completed applications must be completed by the deadline and submitted online to the appropriate State Coordinators. Further instructions regarding submissions are included in the application packet.
