Welcome to the Schoolwide Program

A school with a Title I Schoolwide Program, which is primarily addressed in Section 1114 of Title I, Part A, is one that receives Part A funds "to upgrade the entire educational program of a school that serves an eligible school attendance area in which not less than 40 percent of the children are from low-income families, or not less than 40 percent of the children enrolled in the school are from such families". The focus of a Schoolwide Program is Comprehensive Schoolwide Reform to ensure all students – especially those considered most academically at-risk – are able to attain academic proficiency based upon state academic standards.

Teacher Evaluation Affirmations Fri, Dec 16 2022

During the legislative session of 2022 the legislature repealed A.R.S. 15-952 as part of the K-12 Budget Reconciliation Bill that was signed by Governor Doug Ducey.  Due to this repeal an LEA will no longer be required to submit an Affirmation of Teacher Evaluations by February 1st to the Educator and School Excellence Unit.  The repeal of 15-592 though does not remove the evaluation requirements of the LEA for certificated teachers as required under A.R.S. 15-537.
