Mathematics and S.T.E.M. (Science, Techonogy, Engineering & Math) Activies

Math concepts prepare students for credit-bearing, college-entry courses and/or the workplace.  STEM is a focus that benefits youth in learning communities. Many schools are moving towards a S.T.E.A.M. (added Arts) and S.T.R.E.A.M. (added Reading and Arts) application in their outside-of-school-time program

Literacy

Literacy is a critical component to all subjects. Strategies that engage a student’s understanding and knowledge are an asset in afterschool learning environments.

College and Career Readiness

College and Career Readinesscan occur throughout a student’s academic career. Helping students to understand their options can assist in gaining knowledge, skills, and exposure to post-secondary success.
