Application Information
The State Tutoring Grant can be found in the Grants Management System. This guide will assist your team as you complete the FY 21 State Tutoring Grant application.
Please review the 2020-2021 Announcement Letter This contains critical information about all areas of the grant. The State Tutoring Grant can be found in the Grants Management System. The GME application is titled FY 2021- State Tutoring. Please include two additional files to your completed GME FY 21 State Tutoring application.
1. ST Budget Worksheet should be included in your completed GME application. This outlines your budget. Benefits for Tutors does not include medical. This is a critical piece in the State Tutoring budget. Please plan on tutoring up to 24 weeks for the school year. Tutoring will not take place during fall or spring break or for two weeks during AZM2 testing in April. Do not budget for more than 24 total weeks of tutoring. Students should not receive more than 4 hours of tutoring during a week.
2. District/School Contact List should be included in your completed GME application.
Both files are critical to a completed application.
On the grant application, in #3 – Please provide a short description of your project in one or two paragraphs. You must include the benefits percentage rate and a description indicating that their benefits are without medical. State Tutoring applications will be rejected for revision until these items are correct..
State Tutoring grant applications must be completed in GME by September 11, 2020. This includes the Grant Application Worksheet and District/School Contact List. The State Tutoring program is a competitive grant. All completed
Once the application and supporting documents have been submitted, the State Tutoring Team will review and process the application. All applicants will be notified by September 25, 2020 if their application was approved. Budgets might be asked to change based on the number of applications the project receives. All application and budget changes must be in the GME system by October 9, 2020.
