Arizona's 22 Federally Recognized Tribes

Most Tribes have a Tribal Education Department (TED), Tribal Education Director, or someone from their Tribal leadership team who is assigned education if the Tribe is smaller. These departments act like the Arizona Department of Education and work with public schools and Bureau of Indian Education schools in regards to that Tribe’s education initiatives.
