Thursday, October 19th – 4:15pm-6:45pm (Phoenix local time)
- This interactive session will provide participants with an opportunity to gain an understanding of the structure and content of the 2019 English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), in addition to why and how they were updated. During our time together, we will also identify the role of the Performance Indicators (PIs) of the ELPS and how they support Arizona ELs in developing their proficiency in English.

Thursday, October 26th – 4:15pm-6:45pm (Phoenix local time)
During this collaborative session, we will build the capacity of educators of ELs in designing and delivering Targeted Instruction (ELD). Through discussion, we will dig into how intentionally designed Targeted Instruction (ELD) uses the language skills (Performance Indicators) of the English Language Proficiency (ELP) Standards to drive the specific and explicit language instruction for ELs. **If you attended the sessions offered during June and July 2023, these will be the same sessions.

Thursday, NOVEMBER 2ND – 4:15pm-6:45pm (Phoenix local time)
- During this collaborative session, we will build the capacity of educators in designing and delivering Integrated Instruction. Through discussion, we will dig into how unpacking standards will lead to intentionally designed Integrated Instruction. We will look at how to use the language skills (Performance Indicators) of the English Language Proficiency (ELP) Standards to support the development of English proficiency through content instruction.
**If you attended the sessions offered during June and July 2023, these will be the same sessions.
*The K-5th and 6th-12th grade sessions will have the same introductory sections, but the examples and think-alouds will be specific to the grade-bands noted.

Please note that these sessions will not be recorded for publishing or sharing. The learning sessions are designed to have a lot of engagement, discussion, and application. In a recording, this opportunity for learning is lost.
As we are planning for Spring and Summer sessions, we know that these topics are highly requested, so we are planning to offer these sessions again.

2024 PELL Meetings are bing scheduled! Please check back in January for the 2024 dates and details.
AUDIENCE: EL Program Coordinators, District and Site Administrators
For the PELL Meeting, we are processing participant registrations in a slightly different manner. Due the venue’s limited participant capacity, we want to ensure more LEAs have an opportunity to register and attend. For this purpose, registrations will be limited to up to 3 individuals per LEA or Charter Holder/Network and OELAS will be manually registering all participants.

- Full Name (first and last names)
- Email Address
- Name of LEA
- Confirm form of payment – Will the registration be paid by purchase order or credit card*?
- Purchase Order – attach with the email request to register
- Credit Card – you will be contacted directly to personally finalize your registration in the system; ADE staff cannot take credit card information, DO NOT SUBMIT OR EMAIL ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
