Upcoming Opportunities:
Targeted English Language Development Instruction:
Grammar Basics with the Grammar Wall in the Targeted ELD Classroom
**If you attended any of the HISEP (High Intensity Summer ELD Program) trainings this summer, please know that this session was addressed during this multi-day training. The structure and methodology shared in this session will be the same.
We must have a minimum of 30 participants registered and committed to attend this training. If we do not have at least 30, we will have to cancel this training opportunity.
Integrated Instruction for ELs:
Online workshops (webinars):
What does it mean to “provide and use language scaffolds” for English learners (ELs) in a content-area class? In each session of the series, we will watch a video of a content-area lesson where the teacher is leading the class through a learning task. While the video being used may be from a specific grade level, the English language strategies and scaffolds can be used at all grade levels.
**If you attended the May 2025 PELL Meeting, these are the same videos, and the discussion will be similar. These workshops are designed for the classroom teacher, so we hope that classroom teachers attend and participate in the discussion!
These sessions will not be recorded for posting, so please attend the live session!
