ADE recognizes that many educators want to continue their influence in the classroom while simultaneously expanding their impact beyond the students they teach. Grounded in the AZ Teacher Leader Standards, this training includes 4 full-day, in-person sessions on relevant leadership topics. In between those quarterly sessions, participants will meet virtually in their collaborative cohort to further unpack the learning. The cohorts will customize learning topics to differentiate the learning within the virtual sessions. 

 

What can I expect from this training?

  1. Four in-person, in-depth sessions
  2. Four virtual collaborative sessions: 
    • Content differentiated by cohort
    • Virtual dates are determined by cohort

Academy Dates:

  • Session 1: Leadership, Growth Mindset & Vision - August 25, 2026
  • Session 2: Relationships & Culture - September 29, 2026
  • Session 3: Instruction, Learning Theory & Data - October 27, 2026
  • Session 4: Professional Development, Celebration & Technology - December 8, 2026

*4 additional virtual session dates will be offered.
