What to Expect

  • A three-day, differentiated bootcamp designed specifically for second-career educators, J-1 teachers, and teachers in their first years of practice.
  • Ongoing virtual support and learning opportunities throughout the school year to reinforce key concepts and address emerging needs.
  • Practical, classroom-ready strategies focused on classroom management, instructional practices, student engagement, and more.
  • Opportunities to network, collaborate, and build a supportive professional community with fellow new educators.
  • Foundational knowledge and resources aligned to the unique expectations and context of teaching in Arizona.

ECTA Supports New Teachers

  • Equips new and early career educators with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in the classroom.
  • Provides an immersive bootcamp experience that helps teachers start the school year prepared and positioned for success.
  • Creates a supportive environment where participants can ask questions, share experiences, and build meaningful professional relationships.
  • Strengthens and complements school onboarding efforts by enhancing existing teacher induction and orientation programs.
  • Supports teacher growth beyond the initial training through continued coaching, collaboration, and professional learning opportunities.
