Transportation Requirements for Local Education Agencies
The McKinney-Vento Homelessness Assistance Act requires that local educational agencies, such as public school districts and public charter districts, ensure that transportation is provided to and from the “school of origin” (42 U.S.C. §11432(g)(1)(J)(iii)).
