The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is committed to maintaining the transparency of government and providing actionable information to parents, educators, and the community. To that end, the ADE provides public data sets and reports that are available and may be immediately downloaded and utilized.

• If the available public data sets do not meet your needs, select from the form below to submit a Public Record Request or create a Specialized or Restricted Data Request.
• Data requests may be made for specialized aggregations of data files, customized lists/exports of data, and other items that have not been previously compiled/completed are beyond the scope of Public Records Request. These requests are subject to approvals and are dependent upon capacity and availability of data. 
• Data Requests for Research are reviewed on a monthly basis, please see ADE's Research Agenda for more information. 

Please note, all requests, proposals and supporting documents sent to the ADE become public records.

Publicly Available Data: 

• Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Data: You can find information on the ESA webpage. On the menu under the ESA Quarterly Reports dropdown, you can find the quarterly reports submitted to the Arizona State Board of Education. These reports include student counts by eligibility category, grade level, and associated school district/charter, counts by annual award amount, application statistics, and other information.
   
• School Finance Data: You can find this information on the Reports webpage. Topics include Classroom Site Fund and Instructional Improvement Fund Reports, Superintendent's Annual Finance Reports (SAFR), SAFR digital data set, and School District Employee Reports (SDER).
   
• High School Equivalency (GED) Transcript: For more information on how to submit a request for a High School Equivalency (GED) transcript, visit our website ​HSE transcript request.  Official HSE Transcript Requests, Access Code Requests, & Verifications must be submitted via the email inbox, [email protected], or through regular mail.
   
• Information from specific schools, districts, or other institutions: You must contact the school, district, or institution directly to submit your request.  Requests for information from institutions that serve students beyond 12th grade should be directed to the institutions themselves or to the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education (https://ppse.az.gov)
   
• Enrollment Data: Our Accountability team publishes annual student enrollment counts on our website here: Accountability Research- Data under the “Enrollment” tab. Student enrollment counts are available at the school, district/charter holder, County, and State levels. We include breakdowns by grade and subgroups.
