At this time all tutoring services will be provided by qualified teachers or substitutes through their local school district or charter, or through approved tutoring providers that apply and are awarded contracts through ADE's Procurement Portal. Tutoring contracts will not be awarded to individuals at this time.
See the tab above for the latest session information.
Tutoring sessions depend upon the age and ability of the student. We recommend 30 to 60-minute sessions. If you want to provide sessions longer than 90 minutes, you must get approval from ADE. Students are eligible for up to 24 hours per six-week session. All tutoring sessions, regardless of length, are limited to 3 students maximum.
Parents can reschedule a tutoring session with the tutoring provider if there is time to do so within the session block of time. If a student is a no-show, ADE will pay for two sessions, but after the third no-show session, the student is dropped and may not re-enroll until the next six-week session.
Tutoring sessions may be online or in-person. It is up to the parent and tutoring provider to find a location for in-person tutoring. It is not the responsibility of the school district or charter to provide a location for tutoring.
Parents and LEAs will identify students to tutor and will either go through their local school or one of the Authorized ATP Providers.
All tutoring sessions are recorded in the ATP attendance portal. Please contact your ATP Manager if you have trouble entering attendance into the portal.
