Leveraging Student Stories to Support Learning Differences
Many of our adult learners and the people closest to them live with disabilities or learning differences. Their insights and strengths often go unacknowledged in traditional instructional materials. The Change Agent's newest three-issue collection changes that by featuring powerful, student-produced stories about navigating disability at school, at home, at work, and in the community. These authentic voices not only build connection and representation but also provide rich opportunities for teaching foundational reading, writing, and speaking/listening skills.
Part 1 on Wednesday, May 6th from 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Part 2 on Wednesday, May 20th from 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM

Building Digital Skills without the Burnout
You know your learners need stronger digital skills, but between packed lesson plans, limited time, and wildly different skill levels, teaching technology can feel overwhelming. What if building digital skills didn't mean adding one more thing to your plate?
Join us for June's Teaching and Learning's Webinar series and discover how small, intentional digital routines can make a big difference. In this two-session series, you'll learn how to create digital routines that fit seamlessly into what you're already teaching. These routines are quick to launch, easy for learners to follow, and flexible enough to use across many lessons and skill levels.
The result? Less stress for you, more confidence for your learners, and steady digital skill growth that happens naturally over time. No extra prep. No major overhaul. You'll walk away with practical ideas you can use right away to support digital skill growth without adding to your workload.
Part 1 on Wednesday, June 3rd from 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Part 2 on Wednesday, June 17th from 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM

The Teaching the Skills That Matter in Adult Education project (TSTM) trains teachers to integrate the skills that matter to adult students using approaches that work across engaging topics. Using the project's tools and training, adult education teachers can teach these transferable workforce skills students need across multiple contexts.
Explore the Online Toolkit to get started with read-made lesson plans and resources for the classroom.
Thank you for participating in TSTM this year! You can continue to access the toolkit using the link above.
The Curriculum for Adults Learning Math, or CALM, was developed by the Technical Education Research Center (TERC) development team to craft a coherent progression of units and lessons that integrates the Mathematical Standards domains and levels.
CALM (Curriculum for Adults Learning Math) features units that focus on building students' conceptual understanding of core math concepts before delving deeper. Each unit includes complete lesson plans, formative assessments for each lesson, and a performance-based assessment. CALM also focuses on the CCRSAE, including the key shifts and the Standards for Mathematical Practice.

The Building an EdTech Strategy Toolkit Course (BEST) is designed to help instructors develop adaptable edtech routines tailored to their unique contexts. This course uses a blended model, including five synchronous virtual sessions, to guide participants through a carefully sequenced set of considerations as they work to complete the design of edtech routines for their classroom.
