The Farm to Summer Challenge is an initiative of the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Health and Nutrition Services (HNS) Division to encourage Farm to School activities during Summer Food Service Program/Summer Seamless Option by creating excitement around serving fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
Program operators will have three weeks to complete challenge criteria (TASTE, TEACH & CONNECT Arizona). Note: Due to continued challenges caused by COVID-19, modifications will be offered within the challenge criteria to support extended flexibility to all interested meal service operators.
Join us for an informational webinar on May 12 from 3:30-4:30pm to kick off the challenge and review challenge rules. Register here!
