Now accepting session proposals covering a wide range of well-rounded education and federal program topics. Session Proposals
Preference will be given to workshops that include the following topics:
Online Learning Virtual Classrooms Social Emotional Learning Resources Topics for Special Student Populations such as Indigenous Students, etc
Arizona LEAs are highly encouraged to apply and present examples of innovation and best practice to their peers.
The theme for this year is
“Every Student, Every Day, Every Opportunity.” We ask that you consider this theme when planning your proposals.
When submitting your proposal, you will have the following options:
Format Live Presentation (similar to running your own Zoom meeting) Pre-Recorded Presentation (presenters must be available to take questions through a chat format while the presentation is being shown) Time Frame 45-minute session 15-minute session (will be grouped with other 15 min sessions sharing similar topic/theme)

Calling all Arts educators to highlight innovative ways Performing & Visual Arts classrooms are engaging every student, every day, with every opportunity at the 2022 ESSA Conference.
The Virtual Student Showcase is an exciting opportunity for students, teachers, and schools to share the amazing and incredible arts learning experiences that are occurring within Arizona classrooms.
Featured students will have their work
presented preceding or following sessions, during a scheduled break, or at the close of the event day. Past performance groups have included: Large Music Ensembles Concert Choirs Modern Dance Ensembles Mariachi Performances Solo & Duo Performances Theatre Troupes Application Requirement: Open to Arizona Title I Public Schools & Charter Schools Performance selections should not exceed 15 minutes in length Application Timeline: *Please note that the Visual Arts submissions for ESSA uses the same submission form as Youth Arts Month (YAM). Be sure to check the box that says AGREE to: "My district or charter is Title I and I would like to additionally display work at the 2022 State ESSA Conference." Keynote Speaker To be announced soon!
