Educator Appropriately Certification Guidelines
The Board approved a rule change on September 27, 2021, that establishes the "Certification Guidelines for Teaching Assignments" which provides the required certificate, endorsement, and/or approved area that is required for a teaching assignment. This helps to ensure compliance with federal requirements for teachers in Title I schools required under the Every Student Succeeds Act, to be "appropriately certified" in accordance with state guidelines.
