Using Google Forms, DRHS surveys all seniors on post-high school plans during the fourth quarter. They also gather scholarship data, AP testing data, SAT/ACT data, and CTE data to build a College/Career Readiness picture for their school. DRHS has the highest number of students in their district enrolled in East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), as well as one of the largest dual enrollment programs in the East Valley.
Desert Ridge High School provides students with the opportunity to explore College and Career options throughout their four years in high school. In the first two years, an emphasis is placed on planning and interest/strength exploration. In the last two years, students focus on potential career paths and the skills and education necessary to reach their goals.
