What is SIP?
- Participation is 100% free, and we provide need-based stipends of up to $300 and tech support for those who qualify.
- Applicants must be current 9-11th grade students (rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors) who identify as female, non-binary, or gender non-conforming.
- Participants can be beginners or already have some computer science experience.

Girls Who Code welcomes all eligible students to apply for their introductory coding program, and strongly encourages applicants who are historically underrepresented in tech including Black, Latinx, and low-income students.
