- House Bill 2015
- In January 2021 Arizona House Representative Sierra introduced House Bill 2015 (HB2015).
- This bill would appropriate $45 million from the state general fund over three years (FY22-FY24) for the provision of high quality preschool programming.
- This bill aims to help restore critical preschool funding to children most in need the year they enter kindergarten. To date, the bill has passed both the house and appropriations committee.

- Early Literacy Policy Framework
- Terri Clark from Read On Arizona is leading a project to develop an early literacy policy framework for Arizona.
- Arizona stakeholders took part in a peer learning exchange with Mississippi
- This policy framework was captured in Governor Ducey's 2021 priorities entitled, "2021 Arizona Resilient." (Pgs 10-11 of this document capture key elments proposed.)
