Advocacy: Make your Voice Heard

AzTEA Peak Performance Ed Tech Conference
The Arizona Technology in Education Alliance (AzTEA) is hosting the first of three educational technology conferences in it's annual tri-conference series. This year's tri-conference
theme is "Envisioning Transformation" and features Howie Diblasi as the keynote speaker.
AzTEA's Peak Performance conference will be held in Flagstaff, AZ on November 7th, 2008.
The conference offers a wide range of presentations on strategies and tools for effectively integrating technology in schools.
We encourage educators across the state to take advantage of this valuable professional development experience. Additional information can be found in AzTEA's conference flyer.

Fall E-Rate Training Schedule Released
The fall E-Rate trainings for new and experienced applicants have been released. There will be 3 face-to-face trainings held throughout the state for new or inexperienced applicants. Two E-Rate FY2009 Update webinars for more experienced E-Rate applicants are also available. For more information on these E-Rate trainings and how to register for them, please visit http://www.ade.az.gov/erate. 
2008 Educational Technology Standard Draft
The 2008 Educational Technology Standard Draft is now available for public
comment. Constituents may respond via seven public forums, online survey, email,
fax or mail. To download a copy of the 2008 Educational Technology Standard
Draft,
click here. Please include the strand, concept, and performance objective
listed for each item that you are addressing in your comments. The deadline for
submitting comments is November 10, 2008.
