Arizona Education Employment Board (AEEB)
  The AEEB is a website for Districts/Charters to list their open positions and for candidates to view their opportunities. It includes an online application, certification requirements, and a variety of information for job seekers. The AEEB offers email updates on newly posted positions.
AZ Promising Practices
  The Arizona Promising Practices website serves as a resource to all educators, parents, students, and community members. Topical content is provided in an effort to link individuals with research components, strategies, and learning concepts in an effort to improve educational outcomes.
Career and Technical Education
  The high school curriculum is designed to introduce education careers to students who have expressed an interest in education. Using a variety of techniques, students are provided an inside view of education.
Great Arizona Teach-In
  This recruitment effort is for every District/Charter in the state of Arizona. Once a year this career fair is held to help schools find highly qualified candidates to fill their vacant positions. The success in matching candidates with schools increases every year.
National Career Fairs
  On behalf of all Districts and Charters, CSPD annually represents the State of Arizona at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) conference and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) conference, as well as many other recruitment opportunities.
Speech Pathologists
  In dealing with the shortage of speech pathologists working in the school setting, CSPD strives to partner with universities to increase these numbers. Arizona State University (ASU) and Northern Arizona University (NAU) are working to recruit more students from Arizona and offer a variety of opportunities for working in schools.
State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG)
  The State Personnel Development Grant is a federal grant awarded to Arizona to accomplish two goals:
Goal 1: To recruit, prepare, and retain sufficient numbers of ethnically diverse, fully-certified special education teachers and SLPs (including those individuals who are Hispanic, Native American, African American, of another minority, or who have a disability) to meet the needs of a rapidly growing population of students with disabilities.Goal 2: Students with disabilities or at-risk for having a disability within participating schools will receive scientifically-based research reading and math strategies to attain significant reading and math gains over baseline levels. Referrals to special education will be reduced and accuracy of appropriate identification of students for special education services will improve.
