NAU Department of Occupational Therapy Workshop: Partnering with Teachers to Prepare Students for their Transition to the Postsecondary Setting

Friday, February 23, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.:   OTs are a valuable but underused resource in the transition planning process. Directors, teachers and others who are stakeholders in the transition planning process are invited to come and learn about what tools OT’s have to obtain age-appropriate assessment data to help plan for and provide information to carry out appropriate transition plans for your students with more significant disability needs.  If you are an OT in the field and have not been trained to use your skillset in the transition process, come and hear about how to get training and mentorship to participate in the transition planning process for the middle and high school aged student and beyond.
