- The Special Education Handbook describes the requirements of Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in a readable and accessible format. It provides an explanation of federal and state special education requirements and includes relevant citations. The Special Education Handbook has been used in the annual training of school and special education administrators; its companion PowerPoint presentation, IDEA Overview, can be accessed from the link immediately below.
- The IDEA Overview PowerPoint presentation is the same one that has been used for annual training of school and special education administrators. The presentation includes an overview of the requirements described in Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA.)
