A Principal’s Primer for Raising Reading Achievement
In collaboration with Voyager Sopris Learning, Arizona Department of Education’s Exceptional Student Services will be hosting a two day leadership training, entitled A Principal’s Primer for Raising Reading Achievement. This training is a “how-to” professional development opportunity for district and school administrators who want to improve the overall reading performance of an elementary or middle school population.
A Principal’s Primer for Raising Reading Achievement, led by Pati Montgomery, Ed.S., provides practical instruction on how a principal can lead a school to implement research-based, multi-tier reading instruction and achieve optimal results, especially with students with disabilities and students from economically, socially, or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.

A registration fee is charged for all registrants, including those who do NOT SHOW and have not canceled in writing within 10 business days prior to the event start date. All cancellations and or replacements must be received in writing within 10 business days prior to the first day of the workshop for a refund. Exceptions may be made for emergency situations only up to the first day of the event start date.
