After fourteen years of operating under No Child Left Behind we finally(!) have a new reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). As the underlying purpose for ESEA remains the same – supports for schools with high poverty populations – this new version – Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) – offers the opportunity to build on our previous work and create schools that serve all of our students well. This year’s MEGA Conference will focus on transitions to the new requirements on the horizon.
A 3-day MEGA registration will enable you to participate in a wide variety of workshops, including Starry, Starry Night on Tuesday Night,
the School Leadership Strand on Wednesday and the Business Managers Strand on Thursday.

Starry, Starry Night
Tuesday evening we will be offering a spectacular evening under the stars. Discover celestial treasures through large telescopes, each accompanied by an astronomy tour guide to operate the telescope. Your tour guide will point out the stars and constellations with a powerful green laser and share the wonders
of the universe as you look through the eyepiece, telling the history, mythology and science behind each object being viewed during the star tour.
This is available with your Mega 3-day and the School Leadership Strand registration.
There will be limited spaces available, so sign up early!
Registration for this event is separate from conference registration.
