In 2010 the Arizona State Board of Education adopted the Common Core Standards with Arizona Additions. The 2010 English Language Arts Standards (Common Core) replace the Language Arts Standards for Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking, and Viewing & Presenting Articulated by Grade Level in 1996, 2003, and 2004. Schools should see the Arizona Timeline for Adoption and Implementation.
