The Molly Blank Fund- ASU Gammage Teaching Artist Roster

After a year of training facilitated by ASU Gammage in The Kennedy Center’s arts integration method, the first cohort of The Molly Blank Fund Teaching Artists are available to work in schools. If you are looking to infuse the arts in your classroom, these teaching artists are trained and ready to share their artistic disciplines with students in ways that meet classroom learning objectives.

The Office of Arts Education is so excited to announce that the first cohort of The Molly Blank Fund Teaching Artists has been published in this roster. Check it out and imagine the creative possibilities in the classroom!

ASU Gammage Teaching Artist Program- Rolling Deadline Extension

The deadline for the 2019-2020 Molly Blank Fund – ASU Gammage Teaching Artists Program application has been modified to a become a rolling deadline until the cohort has been filled with qualified applicants. Applicants will be notified within a month of their application.

The TAP program, which spans the 2019-2020 school year, trains artists in the Kennedy Center arts integration method to be able to teach workshops in K-12 schools. The training also comes with a $500 stipend and the opportunity to be listed on the ASU Gammage Teaching Artist Roster for future employment opportunities. Any interested artists (theatre/spoken word, dance, music, or visual arts) should apply online.

The ADE is excited to announce our first EVER Summer Institute for K-12 Arts Educators & Teaching Artists!

This year’s event is presented in partnership with Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Foundation!

When: July 20th, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Summer Institute)

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Leadership Summit)

What: “Arts Education Summer Institute” and “Arts Education Leadership Summit!”

Why: To sharpen our skills, explore student-centered practice, and build community partnerships. To ignite our energy for the 18-19 school-year!
