ADE, the Heard Museum, the Phoenix Indian School Visitor’s Center, and the Maricopa Community Colleges District are offering a full day of FREE professional development for educators. The training is worth 7 hours and will take place on Saturday January 5th from 8:30am-4:00pm. Take advantage of this opportunity to familiarize yourself with ways to teach American Indian History through the history and social science standards and gain tools you can take back to the classroom! The training will take place in the newly remodeled visitors center in the Steele Indian School Park.
