Join me in Kansas at the State Education Agency Directors of Arts Education (SEADAE) annual conference!
SEADAE is partnering with Young Audiences Arts for Learning to offer a conference on ESSA with a focus on looking at how policy meets practice in our schools. Now through June 15, 2018, SEADAE will be accepting proposals for conference sessions to appeal to a broad audience of educators K-12, teaching artists, higher education, administrators, arts stakeholders and researchers.
The conference is structured around two central themes relating to ESSA as states and school districts roll out their plans. The two themes include:
– Charting new realities for arts education under ESSA
– Putting the arts into education policies and practice
