This event will feature the following noted presenters:
Marilyn Friend has spent her career as a general education teacher, special education teacher, teacher educator, and staff developer. She is the author of Co-Teach! A Manual for Creating and Sustaining Classroom Partnerships, and Including Students with Special Needs: A Practical Guide for Classroom Teachers. She is also the former president of the Council for Exceptional Children.
Andrew Chen is the current president of the EduTron Corporation and a member of the Common Core State Standards Development Team in Mathematics and the Advisory Board of the National Council on Teacher Quality. Dr. Chen assists states and districts in implementing the Common Core State Standards so they are accessible to struggling learners.
Hannah Erhli is the Council for Exceptional Children 2012 Clarissa Hug Teacher of the Year. She has also won the 2010 Florida Council of Exceptional Children Marjorie Crick Teacher of the Year Award for displaying excellent standards and commitment to educating students with disabilities.
Danielle Ferreira is the current Arizona Milken Educator Award winner. Dr. Ferreira is a special education teacher at Constitution Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona, and has had many publications in prestigious journals, such as Teaching Exceptional Children and Intervention in School and Clinic.
