The Southern Arizona office in Tucson serves public education agencies and families throughout Southeastern Arizona. The education program specialists monitor special education programs and offer technical assistance to school districts and charter schools in Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, Southern Pinal, and Santa Cruz counties. The assistive technology specialist provides support to the schools for consideration and implementation of assistive technology. The secondary transition specialist provides training and technical assistance that pertains to the preparation of high school students for adult life.
