Registration is now open for an assistive technology conference to be held at the Glendale Civic Center on July 11-12, 2012. This conference is being presented by the Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP).
Because ADE/ESS is a major sponsor of the event, teachers and related service providers who work in the public schools are able to attend at a deeply discounted price— only $75.00 for two full days— including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Sessions will include “hot topics” such as:
- Using iPads in special education
- Using text-to-speech with students who have print disabilities
- Using low-tech tools for the classroom…and more!
This conference is appropriate for administrators, IT staff, AT Specialists, special educators, general educators and related service providers. It has been submitted for approval by DHS for renewing speech licensure, and will be accepted by the ADE as continuing education for renewing teaching certificates.
Please open this flyer for more information.
