When I am in the Entity Admin Portal, my screen is greyed out.

If you are using I.E. version 8 or greater, then more than likely you have active Pop-up blockers. 

Disable Pop-up Blocking in Internet Explorer:

  1. Click the Tools menu.
  2. Scroll down to “Pop-up blocker.”
  3. Select, “Turn off popup blocker.”
