             What is the HQT Application?

The Highly Qualified Teacher Position Input Application is an on-line web based application that tracks the highly qualified status of all K-12^th grade core content teachers in Arizona as required by the Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA) reauthorization of 2002.

            Who must report HQT data? 

All public school districts and charters (not-for-profit) must enter data into the application at the beginning of each school year.  LEAs and schools must keep the database current throughout the year.
