Getting Started on the USDA Foods Program

The process of getting started is very easy. Simply follow these three steps to receive USDA foods:

Step 1:
You must be a sponsor on NSLP before applying for the USDA Foods Program.
New sponsors of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, click here: www.azed.gov/health-nutrition/nslp/operate-nlsp/how-to-apply/ if already a NSLP Sponsor continue to Step 2.

Step 2:
To gain access to CNP2000, new sponsors participating in the USDA Foods Program must register and attend the USDA Foods Web-Based Training. To register go to: www.ade.az.gov/onlineregistration 

Step 3:
Update your delivery location information and program contact information in CNP2000. Click here for the instructions on how to update your information in CNP2000. This information tells us where you would like your USDA Foods delivered and provides the sponsoring organization, USDA Foods contact and USDA Foods billing contact.

If you do not have access to CNP2000, please contact a member of the School Food Programs team (click on Contact Information below) to find out how to get access or to direct you to the person in your district that has access.
