Please be advised that at this time ADE has not received from the US Department of Education (DOE) needed to calculate individual county rates for fiscal year 2014.  Indirect Cost rates have been updated in GME for all Entities that have one for the coming year.  When completing your applications this rate will be visible but it will not include the County rate.  Entities will need to complete their application and subimit an amendment at a later time once the County rate is calculated to adjust their budget.

Please be advised that the current GME system does not support Version 10 of Internet Explorer (IE).  We have found that users that have upgraded to this version of the browser are not able to save amendment and application data.  The system continues to support Version 8 IE.  The new GME system will however support newer versions, like 10, of IE within the coming fiscal year. 

If you are having issues with your amendments, applications or completion reports saving, review the version of IE you are using.  If you are still having issues please feel free to contact Sarah Hendrix, 602 542-4494 or Sarah Heikkila 602 542-4339 for assistance.

Just as a reminder, the current GME system still only supports IE.

The GSA form is now available for FY 2014.  The form can be obtained on the Grants Management website under Reports/Forms ->General Statement of Assurance.

ADE Grants Management has received questions concerning the CCR registration.  The System for Award Management or SAM has complied a list of questions and answers.  We have posted it here, but the SAM website will be your best guide for answers.  We regret that we cannot assist with the actual CCR process, however, the SAM site does provide a number for technical and customer service question.

(NEW) The roll out date for the new Payment Request process is set for January 2, 2013.

Please refer to the August 28, 2012 Grants Management webinar that is available online for the detailed information regarding this process.

 Until that time, please continue to send in requests for inital payments.  Cash Management reports will also need to be completed and submitted by the 18th of December.

Dear Grantee,

 We have been speaking with you through various means for the past 6 months detailing planned changes to our Grants Management Enterprise System.  Our plan was to roll-out one of the most important components of those changes – the payment request process – on December 3, 2012. 

Unfortunately, we have discovered a number of issues within the system that are not going to make that target date feasible. Specifically, we have more work to do to resolve an issue within the system that would have displayed a grantee’s payments-to-date incorrectly.  As you can understand, we have no desire to implement such an important change and only lead to more confusion and work for our grantees.

 Accordingly we have set  a new roll-out date of January 2, 2013 for the new payment request system.  This new date will allow us further time to resolve these issues and provide a fully functional payment system that allows you to track grant disbursements accurately at any given time.

 We still plan the same scope of changes and look forward to being able to process payments on a daily basis, rather than confining grantees to a window of time to submit their cash requests.

Arizona Department of Education is posting final  allocation numbers for grants Title I and Title II.  The spreadsheet has two worksheets containing two different data sortings; CTDS and LEA name.
