Understanding SAIS Reports – An Advanced View

We are pleased to announce that we have created an advanced level presentation on SAIS Reports and have posted it on our website next to our Introductory Level presentation of the SAIS Reports.  They can be found on our Business Rule Documents and Presentations page within the “Presentations” section under Fiscal Year 2013. The latest presentation is titled “Understanding Your SAIS Reports – Advanced Level.”

These presentations are designed to provide an overview of the student details reports (SDDI) and your Student Counts reports as well as to explain the purpose of the reports, how to understand them, and how to reconcile them.

If you have further questions regarding these reports, please contact your Account Analyst.

Limited ADM on the ADM, SPED and ELL 75 Reports

We have received reports of the limited ADM data not being available on the 75 reports for ADM, SPED and ELL.  This is expected as we are currently in the middle of the monthly processing of integrity and aggregation.  This data will be available on the reports once monthly processing is complete.

Completion notification will be posted to the IT Bulletin Board  within the next couple of days.

SAIS Submission Deadline EXTENDED Through 5pm Today

Yesterday was the deadline to submit SAIS data to be included in March’s monthly processing.   We received multiple reports of SAIS not allowing files to be uploaded yesterday afternoon.  After reviewing and resolving this issue, we have extended the submission deadline through tonight (3/1) at 5pm to allow those LEAs who were unable to upload their files to submit them through 5pm today.

We apologize for any concerns this may have caused.

For the SAIS processing schedule, please see this Hot Topic posting

SPED28-1 Report Concerns – UPDATE

The SPED 28-1 report is not showing the correct number of students in some SPED need categories.  We are working on a solution at this time and will update the SPED 28-1 reports and post a notification when they match the SPED 75-1 reports.

In the interim, please continue to check the ADMS 75-1, SPED 75-1, ELL 75-1 and the corresponding 72 reports for accuracy in your data and update your SAIS data as needed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE:  There is an issue with the SPED28-1 report not displaying all the SPED ADM.  While this information is not being displayed, it does exist in our payment system, so the March 1, 2013 CHAR55-1 and APOR55-1 reports will report the data accurately.  Until we are able to resolve the display issue, please see your SPED75-1 report for the SPED ADM that will reconcile to the 55-1 reports.
AOI FTE Submissions
It has come to our attention that inaccurate information was provided at the most recent ASCUS meeting where a non-ADE individual stated that FTE for AOIs did not need to be submitted.  SAIS requires an FTE to be submitted for each enrollment.
If you have any questions regarding this, please see your account analyst.
