<p>Participants will have the opportunity to see and hear about <strong><em>Arizona </em></strong>school and LEA models of Educator Evaluation Systems.</p>

<p><strong>Purpose of Summit III:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To review the Arizona Framework for Measuring Educator Effectiveness: Teacher Performance Measures;</li>
<li>To identify the conditions for effective use of classroom observations;</li>
<li>To examine various models of multiple measures, weighting and use of data to inform LEA plans, both within and outside of Arizona;</li>
<li>To continue to develop an action plan for the design and implementation of an LEA educator evaluation system; and</li>
<li>To identify resources, tools and assistance available to LEAs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Participants:</strong></p>
<p>LEA teams responsible for the design and implementation of the district evaluation system made up of district, school and teacher leaders, such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>Superintendents &amp; Principals</li>
<li>School Board Members</li>
<li>HR Directors</li>
<li>Assessment and/or Curriculum Directors</li>
<li>Department or Grade Level Chairs</li>
<li>Content Specialists</li>
<li>Association Leaders</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Summit Format:</strong></p>
<p>Participants will hear national experts provide current information, research and resources on approaches to measuring educator effectiveness. LEA teams will have the opportunity to reflect on and discuss the information provided and develop plans in working sessions. Experts will be available for questions, consultation and guidance during team working sessions. A workbook will be provided for each session to record key ideas, reflections, discussions, decisions and next steps determined in working sessions.</p>
