The Intel® Teach Thinking with Technology Course builds on effective technology integration skills. Teachers use free online tools to support the development and assessment of their students’ higher-order thinking skills.
Through Thinking with Technology, teachers learn instructional strategies for addressing and assessing higher-order thinking skills, using technology to support deeper understanding of core content. The goal is for teachers to leave the course with a standards-based unit plan, support materials, and implementation strategies to improve and assess students’ higher-order thinking with the use of free online tools.

Statement of Alignment for Curriculum
The International Society for Technology in Education (www.iste.org) completed its review of the Intel Teach Thinking with Technology Course on September 29, 2009. ISTE determined that the program clearly supports implementation of the ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS·T 2008) and prepares participants to substantially meet the following standards:

| LEA Eligibility | Any public school, district, regional education agency, regional occupational program, or nonprofit, nondiscriminatory, private, parochial school in the United States can apply to participate as a Local Education Agency (LEA). |
| Funding | Title II-A (Highly Qualified/Professional Development) funds can pay for stipends or other expenses to implement the Intel Teach Program. |
| PD Hours | Upon successful completion of any of the Intel Teach Programs, participants can receive Professional Development hours for recertification. Please consult your local Human Resources Department regarding Professional Growth hours. |
