Inspired by the medical-rounds model used by physicians, a team of Harvard researchers have pioneered a new form of professional learning known as instructional rounds networks.  Through this process, education leaders and practitioners develop a shared understanding of what high quality instruction looks like and what schools need to do to support it.

Dr. Mark Francis, Deputy Associate Superintendent, Eric Brooks, Director, Highly Effective Teachers and Leaders and Jane Smoudi, Education Specialist will lead you through an intensive and interactive day-long, Instructional Rounds experience.

Mark, Eric and Jane have been trained by Prof. Richard Elmore, Instructional Rounds team staff at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  Those education leaders who participated for the entire first year say it has been one of the most difficult yet revealing educational processes they have learned.
