The 2012-2013 school year will require full implementation of Arizona’s Common Core Standards at several grade levels. It is crucial for educators to have access and be thoroughly engaged in professional development that is aligned to Arizona’s Common Core Standards. Professional development for educators is ongoing.
The Arizona Department of Education has been providing various types of professional development in order to assist with implementation efforts throughout the state. The Arizona Department of Education has partnered with Arizona Regional Education Service and Support Centers as well as national and local experts. Arizona’s Common Core Standards Professional Development is offered in various formats such as in-person workshops and institutes, Webinars, online courses, and web-content delivery.
