
Argument writing plays a special role in the Common Core standards because it is a critical skill necessary for success in the post-secondary world. According to Neil Postman, “argument is the soul of an education because it forces a writer to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of multiple perspectives.” This webinar is designed to share some of the major foundations, definitions, components and organizational structures of argument writing.
