Writing from Sources explains why we need to emphasize the use of evidence to inform or make logical arguments. While students are familiar with the personal narrative, using evidence to support claims or opinions may be a challenge. Showing students how to do this effectively is also a challenge. This Webinar training gives some ideas of how to do it.
