You won’t want to miss this dynamic professional development event hosted by Grand Canyon University and the Arizona Department of Education on a topic that affects all educators: Arizona’s Common Core Standards.
With the full implementation of Arizona’s Common Core Standards set for the 2014-2015 school year, renowned curriculum expert and speaker, Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs, will encourage educators to take a deeper approach to mapping Common Core Standards within their curriculum by presenting it as an engaging opportunity for upgrading teaching and learning for 21st century learners.
Dr. Jacobs, who is the creator of Curriculum21TM and has served as an education consultant to thousands of schools nationally and internationally, will share her most recent work and best practices on how to make a natural transition to Common Core Standards.
- A certificate of completion for 5.5 professional development hours will be provided to attendees.
