ODTL January Newsletter

The Office Of Digital Teaching and Learning (ODTL) is excited and honored to begin this new year and new chapter with you! We hope your holidays were safe, warm and provided all that you needed!

As we look to 2022 we thank you for your support and engagement. We are eager to serve LEAs as a helpful resource in digital teaching and learning across Arizona.

Our first task is complete! We administered the Opportunity Assessment electronically to LEAs across the state. This assessment, and this office, are the result of ADE's Technology Task Force. Open November 15 - December 15, 2021, more than 120 LEAs completed the Opportunity Assessment.

We're excited to share that EACH county in Arizona is represented in this assessment!

Opportunity Assessment: What's Next

Thanks to your participation and completion of this assessment, we are now analyzing the data from LEAs. This will lead us to creating solutions and resources for LEAs across the state.

What we’ve done: Administered the Opportunity Assessment. Every county in Arizona is represented in this assessment!

What we’re doing: Analysis. Our data analyst is working with an ASU team to carefully analyze and interpret the data. From there we can identify needs, gaps and successes.

Where we’re going: The data analysis will inform ODTL's objectives and strategy to effectively support Arizona LEAs with solution-oriented resources. Look for published data and strategy at the end of next month.

We've talked a lot about this assessment - take a look for yourself at our response rates!

Representation Matters.

Representation matters

Thanks to your support and participation, we have representation from ALL counties in Arizona!

This means LEAs from every county in the Grand Canyon State completed an assessment (not every LEA, but at least one LEA per county).
