Wonder how to motivate your students using science and social studies? Have them compete in the Arizona ArcGIS Online Student Competition. This contest is sponsored by the Arizona Geographic Information Council and its group of volunteers and is a great way to combine science, current events, geography, and history. In this introductory webinar, we will introduce the contest and look at past projects that can motivate your students, and help answer any questions you may have. This webinar is terrific for both middle and high school teachers of science and/or social studies. There is a website with instructions and videos you can watch to prepare for the webinar and see how to get started. https://agic.az.gov/agic/arcgis-online-school-competition#overlay-context=resources
